A passion for Dance – A message from Lew and David

we first met Donna and Tam a couple of
years ago at one of our events One of the member of our team Found Donna and Tam and recruited them to
perform this very unique and powerful performance they did.
We see wheelchair dancing at each of our events in it’s always pretty
inspirational and usually a lot of fun and the music’s pretty cool too. This one
was completely different, this wasn’t a wheelchair dancer it
wasn’t a ballroom dancer with one able-bodied and one person with the chair.
This was a person of diminishing skills. As Donna’s disease progresses she’s
able to do a little bit less as time goes on, and having her dance amplified
with two able-bodied dancers to some extraordinarily haunting music…it was
powerful it was beautiful and brought tears to everyone’s eyes When I met Tam and Donna and had a chance
to talk to them and sit down and find out about their backgrounds, I
found out that Tam had what we call an “hidden disability”.She had
health problems that you couldn’t see you talked to Tam and don’t think
anything’s wrong and she almost died three times in a period of a year. When
Tam and I sat down we said what if you met other people with disabilities
and you went into their stories and what if we could create one big final dance
routine with lots of people who have disabilities and then other people
who were able bodied and we could put together a dance routine telling their
story from meeting them the first time and auditioning them and rehearsing with
them and finding out why they want to continue to dance. A passion for dance is a project where
we can show everybody that people who are motivated to do what they want and
can follow their dreams can do anything So this is a request for assistance, we
would like your help. We want to get this film produced. We think the messaging is
important. we think it can have a positive influence on a lot of people
wheter theu are a person with a disability or not a person with a disability. And adult
or a child..The opportunity to dance for all people. The opportunity to exceed your
expectations to achieve all that you can all important messages and with your
support maybe we can get that done
