1. Such a great question! I’m wondering if medications like Zoloft also fall into this category? Thank you for medical minute Monday’s!!

  2. Great video and share! Awareness is everything and making sure no one feels alone! Subbed to your channel and found inspiration here for mine! Keep doing you!

  3. Your medical minute is really helpful. Short and clear for anyone to understand. Not sure if you planned to give your opinion about naturopaths and those remedies, they say organic, in health stores? I am under impression that more and more people are either combining prescription and natural remedies from the stores or go for natural only. Thanks for the medical minutes!

  4. Tried Ativan in December to allow me to travel on a plane for the first time in over 20 years:) It helped but would like to try Xanax the next time I get the courage to take a flight.

  5. I am so excited that you are so close to 100,000 subscribers! I remember the video that HB said he might do another fun video with you when you got to that milestone! Hopefully it happens soon! Yet another fabulous medical minute monday! Hope y'all have a great week!

  6. First and foremost a woman should collaborate with her own doctor because he knows her situation. Wouldn’t you agree?

  7. I am about to wean off anti anxiety meds after being on them for years bc I want to start trying for pregnancy soon. It is literally so scary to me. I don’t know how I’ll go without a year .

  8. That is so insane !!! I never even thought of the drugs you shouldn’t take when pregnant. Great video as always!!!!

  9. I had stopped taking Xanax before I got pregnant. We were trying for a baby so I didn’t want to risk it at all. It was so hard not taking my Xanax for anxiety and panic attacks. Would love another child however it was hard not taking my anxiety medications while preggers. I got through it but it was rough! Here for the other mommas with anxiety struggles!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  10. I would love to see videos about to conditions both of which I suspect I have though I have never been formally diagnosed and those are Dysgraphia and Aspergers.
On the Dysgraphia I know beyond a shadow of a doubt as does every teacher I have ever had. They would all give you an earful about my handwriting and my unusual grip when writing.
As for being an Aspie I confess I don’t make eye contact when talking with people and I tend to talk at people rather than with them.

Here is a video about Aspergers to give you some info on the condition:

  11. I’m a 18 years old boy from Denmark, dealing with a lot of anxiety and isolation. If anybody, who’s fighting with it too, would like to talk about it or other stuff, I’m down for it. Drop your ig name and I’ll try to hit you up

  12. Hi Kristina, it would have been helpful had you also mentioned in this video that not all anxiety meds are benzodiazepines and that there are certainly alternatives available which based on research, pose no risk during a pregnancy. There are other commonly prescribed anxiety medications, such as Lexapro, which are known to be safe.

  13. Can you do a medical minute on the flu shot? Or just vaccines in general. How they work, what people are worried about, etc.

  14. Kristina, I'm a double boarded psychiatrist. Thank you for doing this! You are absolutely correct on your assessment. I would add, if someone is struggling with anxiety, particularly if planning pregnancy, it is important to see a board certified psychiatrist who is well versed in medication safety and pregnancy as there ARE medications and therapies that are SAFE that we do use in pregnancy. Maybe a good MMM would be "how to find a particular doctor who is reputable in the subspecialty you need." Thank you again and bravo on this new project of yours!

  15. Love that you are doing Medical Minute!!! 🙂 This was a very good topic!! Oh my gosh…I wouldn't even consider taking any type of medication while pregnant!!! Best always as
you said, to check with your Doctor first. Thank you, Kristina. <3 🙂

  16. Love the series! Maybe you could do a MMM on vaccinations. As an RN I am very passionate about vaccinating; however, there is a lot of misinformation out there leading to these MMR outbreaks. Keep up the great work.

  17. I love these medical minute Monday’s. I would love to see a video maybe just a rapid fire one where you answer multiple questions that you have received over the course of a month. Like your top 5 monthly round up medical Monday or something like that. Lol point is I like these videos and I’m bummed when they end!! My brain enjoys the knowledge. Lol 😆

  18. This is really interesting! What do you think about essential oils for helping with not serious issues?? I haven’t heard scientists/doctors really comment on the effectiveness of them. Thanks for the video! 🥰

  19. I am really nervous about this as well. I have been on medication for about four years now. I tried weaning off with my doctor's permission 6 months after being on the medication and feeling good. That didn't last long and my anxiety and depression got really bad again. There have been a few times that I have not taken my medication consistently and get sucked back into that doom and gloom that tends to make me suicidal. I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year and nothing yet. I'm going to get checked out soon to rule out any issues but I'd really not like to be on the medication but I don't think I could make it without. Great advise Kristina and just informing everyone to be aware. I didn't know this till reading about medications and tips to conceive before trying.

  20. Thank you Kristina for the Mondays and Tuesday. I am learning, appreciate you so. I also appreciate seeing your previous family. I learn some social family skills too for my own family by watching you, your husband, family. Thank you again, dear one. Debbie

  21. I am a RN and I LOVE your Medical Mondays! Your topic choices always interest me and you're so incredibly knowledgable and informative! Great idea for a series!!!

  23. I have panic disorder and I take effexor. I've been on it for a decade. When I became pregnant I had a huge panic because I simply cannot go on without right now. And my multiple doctors told me it is much much safer for me to continue to take my medication then to not take it. It ended up being safer for both of us to continue to take them. Son was born perfect, he had some small shakes for 24 hours, but the hospital pediatrician reassured me that it was ok and to not feel guilty. Thanks for the video !!
