The style at Women’s Health, it’s a fashionable mix of super high-end, like I have with Hermès and Christian Louboutin, and then also a lot of fast fashion and a lot of more comfortable clothing, so you’ll work in your Zaras and your H&Ms. My name is Laura Frerer-Schmidt, and I am publisher of Women’s Health magazine. My personal style, I would say, is a bit rock ‘n’ roll. A bit sexy, but more feminine-masculine. I’m Jacqueline Azria, I’m the creative director at Women’s Health. At Women’s Health, everybody has a very unique style. My name is Lindy, I’m the marketing creative director at Women’s Health magazine. I would describe my personal style as tailored, simple, but classic. My name is Jen Ator, and I’m the fitness director of Women’s Health magazine. My personal style, it’s kind of eclectic. I like it to be slightly boho, a little bit rocker — like I might wear something that’s very girly, but then pair it with leather leggings or some kind of really tough boots. Amy Keller Laird, I’m the editor-in-chief of Women’s Health magazine. I’d say the one thing that has changed a lot since I’ve come to Women’s Health is that I wear a lot more activewear now to the office, which I never would have done before. I’m Maura Lynch, and I’m the beauty and lifestyle director at Women’s Health. Today, I’m wearing a sweater from Community, which is at Aritzia, and a Bella Canvas tank top — pretty truthful. The best shopping advice that I ever received: Really think about how that piece of clothing is going to work into the wardrobe that you already have, not the one that you’re planning on having. I would say trying on stuff. I hate trying on stuff. I used to walk into stores and just pick stuff, and most of the time, funny enough, when you try stuff on, half of the time you don’t even like it on you. Wear things that make you feel confident. The best shopping advice I got was that you only need a few good pieces. If you like something, buy it in multiples. I really like athleisure. You can actually mix it up with what you wear, and it can be really cool. I think that athleisure is a wonderful trend. It allows you to feel comfortable and sexy at the same time. I think that we’re reaching a point where people can merge activewear with regular wear. That’s a big part of my style as well — I need to be ready to go to the gym and get in a workout, and I need to be ready to come to the office and sit in a meeting with my editor-in-chief.
