More than 1,500 healthcare professionals and volunteers will operate a no-cost medical and dental clinic in Spokane, Washington on August 3-4, 2015. Over $8 million in free health-related services will be offered to non-insured and under-insured residents of Spokane at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center. The event is organized by Your Best Pathway to Health, a service of Adventist-Laymen’s Services & Industries ASI, in partnership with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Adventist Health West and other entities. Your Best Pathway to Health is co-sponsored by the Office of Spokane Mayor David A. Condon as well as the Spokane County Commissioner’s Office. Our 1,500 plus volunteers from all over the United States, physicians, dentists, nurses and general volunteers are ready to serve at least 1,500 patients per day, Free on-site services will include primary care visits, women’s health services
including pap smears, consultation by medical specialists including heart evaluation, as well as gastroenterology, neurology, pulmonology, rheumatology, infectious disease, general and orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, podiatry services, immunizations, root canals, crowns, fillings, extractions, dental cleaning, pharmacy, eyeglass fittings and examinations, STD screenings, medical massage, physical therapy, x-rays, laboratory services, haircuts, chaplaincy services and a free meal. One of the stories that we keep hearing over and over again is people are in disbelief that these services are actually free of charge, even minor surgeries and the message is they are 100% free of charge,” Jordache said. “In the end the Seventh Day Adventists Church believes in serving communities and loving communities in the same way that Jesus did. These services will be offered on a first come, first served basis. No insurance and no identification are required. The free clinic will open at 7 a.m. each day on August 3 & 4. No appointment is necessary,
other than surgical procedures, which require pre-surgery visits. Surgical patients are asked to call 1-888-44-Pathway 1-888-447-2849 as soon as possible to register for free surgery. Spokane residents can obtain
