HEALTH,FITNESS AND WELLNESS||SAME OR DIFFERENT?


Health , fitness and wellness Are they same? Or having different meanings. Lets talk on these in today’s video. Hello this is aman dhanoa and you all are welcomed to the first punjabi fitness channel and today’s video topic is fitness , health and wellness I have often heard from people that I have to fit and very few who say I have to be heathy Whenever people say that we want to be healthy or fit , then what does its real mean? In my view if person is healthy that doesn’t mean he will also fit and at the same time vice versa. So today we will study what is the difference and similarities between these three words . First thing to do is talk of fitness If i explain in simple words then fitness is how we easily do some particular task? There are two types of fitness general fitness and specific fitness Today we talk about general fitness mainly but before it i would like to tell you about specific fitness and it only relates to some specific task for example someone is sprinter if he has an aim to cover 100 meters in 15 secs and instead of 15 secs he completes it in 16 or 17 secs then we can say that he is not fit for the game and if we consider him as a in a general fitness then he is pointed as fit person and this thing applies everywhere If someone is boxer it is not necessary that he is also fit for cricket or power lifting Soo in this we only fit for a specific sport. well this was about specific fitnss Now we talk about general fitness From general fitness we mean how easily we can do our daily routine works. For example if someone is climbing stairs or lifting boxes how easily he can manage his work without feeling fatigue . In general someone talks about fitness then it means he is talking about to fit generally not related to specific task because in our daily life being fit generally is more important than fit specifically. There are also some categories under general fitness Such as cardio muscular means how strong your heart is or muscle power or muscle strength or flexibility how flexible you are About your balance how you hold yourself in one position are some categories That is all about fitness now we will talk about health In simple words health means being without any disease whether it is physically or mentally Physically like cardio problems or fever etc and mentally like depression. If some personal is physically as well as mentally fit then we can consider him as a healthy person but what is the relation between health and fitness? well for example If someone is very much fit in cricket game bt at the same time he is in depression whether he will win or loose on that point he is fit bt not healthy or if we can talk generally there is one person who does all his tasks very smoothly and free from any kind of depression then he is for sure healthy bt if we told them to do some heavy task like sprint or play cricket he may not able to do this this because he doesn’t practice for that thing that means he is not fit .this because he doesn’t practice for that thing that means he is not fit . That all about health , fitness and their relation Now lets talk about wellness . This word is rarely used but some time we used as i wish you a well being so wellness means prosperity and what is the difference or similarity of wellness with regard to fitness and health Fitness and healths are the goals and anyone can achieve them For example someone wants to prepare for hockey or want to be sprinter then he do daily practice to achieve it or if we talk about health then assume someone has high sugar and high bp then they can control it by chnging the diet So these are some goals and can be achieved by someone in a given time period. but these are achievable goals On the other hand if we talk about wellness it is not a goal it is just a way to live a life with which we feel healthy and fit . Wellness has heap of components like physical, mental , spiritual or social , financial, environmental and many others because it is the way to live a life . Assume you are financially well or physically well or mentally well then we can say that you are healthy and as well as fit means balance between all these components are very much important If one of the component is not working well then we are not considered as well but yes we may be healthy or fit but not well. so this was all about wellness Fitness , wellness and health have their own importance . No single component is important but if we choose from these then importance’s of wellness is more because if we are overall well then we will automatically fit and healthy.
