Male breast cancer – Mayo Clinic

Men can get breast cancer it’s very rare.
One, one hundredth of the frequency that it happens or in other words 1% of the frequency
that happens in women. It’s rare enough that there is not population-based
screening but in men who have a known genetic mutation in their family that
would put them at an increased risk, they should definitely discuss it with their
provider and they should have regular screening although their screening is
probably not going to be a mammogram it will be a physical exam that’s done
regularly.
