Women Veterans’ Health


Hi. I’m Nicole Greene, acting director, for the HHS Office on Women’s Health. During National
Women’s Health Week, we remind women to make
their health a priority. We also encourage women to
take simple steps to improve their physical
and mental health. As part of the National
Women’s Health Week observance and in recognition
of Mental Health Month, we are hosting a
Facebook Live event to highlight women
veterans’ health. Women veterans have unique
health needs that often result after their service such as Posttraumatic
Stress Disorder, military trauma, and anxiety. So please join us on May
23rd at 2:00 PM Eastern Time to listen to our panel
of women veterans and key leaders in health care
and mental health services. They will share tips and
resources you can use to improve your overall
health and wellness, especially mental
